“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose." Romans 8:28
We are living in a very special time. A time that our world has never seen before. Whether you agree with me or not, you have to acknowledge that something very peculiar is going on in the earth today that we have never witnessed before.
Yes, our world has seen its share of sickness and disease, but the effect that this Coronavirus is having on our world is jaw dropping. When it comes to natural disasters, everyone would agree that we are no stranger to natural disasters, but 2020 was a record breaking year for natural disasters and they continue to get worse every year.
Lastly, we look at all the civil unrest that is occuring around the globe. It seems like uprisings among the people of our world have become a very common thing and we seemingly have become somewhat numb to it all. There are wars and rumors of war breaking out everywhere. Nation against the nation and some nations are fighting from witthin.
What's so uncanny about what’s going on today is we have never experienced all of this chaos happening at the same time and at record breaking levels.
With all the doom and gloom that’s going on in our world today, it's a little challenging to see why this is such a special time. Right now the world is more concerned about how do we put a stop to all of this evil. In vain, they look for natural ways to put a stop to it all and the darkness of the day continues to get darker and darker. However, they tell me that the darkest time of the night are the hours that precede the breaking of day. With everything that’s transpiring in our world, anyone can easily see that we are living in some very dark days, but ironically, those of us that have truly been born again can rejoice because the breaking of a New Day is upon us.
If you haven’t lost your home to a fire or a storm, then you can consider yourself blessed. If you are one of the fortunate ones that still has a job, enabling you to maintain a happy home, then you are blessed. And last, but certainly not least, if the death angel that’s walking the earth right now, hasn’t disrupted the peace of your happy home by taking the life of a love one, then you can definitely consider yourself blessed.
So why is this such a special time? The war of Good vs. Evil that has plagued the world since the beginning of time is about to come to an end. Those of us in the Christian community refer to this time as the End Times. Why? Because the rule of the devil over the earth is about to come to a perpetual end. Many don’t realize this, including some in the Church, but God is on the verge of putting a stop to the diabolical influence that the devil has had on the world. This is the primary reason for the increase of evil in the world. The devil knows his time is running out, so he has increased his efforts of causing chaos and destruction in his vain attempts to defeat God.
God is also allowing mankind to experience the wiles of the devil to show us that we have a real enemy that is desirous to destroy us. When it’s all said and done with, mankind will come to the reality that we need God to defeat the devil. The Bible instructs us in Ephesians 6:11, “Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil, for we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Eventually, mankind will give God the respect that He alone deserves and when we rightfully reverence Him, He will fight for us and will defeat this enemy.
Unfortunately, darker days lie ahead for the world as they refuse to give God the Glory that He deserves. But as the old adage says, “There is Light at the END of the tunnel.” Eventually, all the inhabitants of the earth will indeed give the Lord the reverence that He rightfully deserves. The reason that I am so confident about this is the Bible declares that Every knee shall bow, and every tongue shall confess that JESUS IS LORD!
Church of the Living God, allow me to encourage you, “The Best Is Yet To Come.” Jesus said, “Behold I come quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give everyone according to their work.” What work? The work of faith. The question that I present to the world is, “Do you believe?”
